How to Enable and Use the "Allow Search Mode" in Nixxis Contact Suite

Administration - Activity - Select Outgoing Activity via Search Mode

Introduction 

This article explains the operation of replacing the classic search mode with the "Allow search mode" option, which allows the agent to select the outgoing activity from which the record is searched and numbered.

Prerequisites 

This functionality is available starting from version 2.4.1 of Nixxis Contact Suite and can be used on an activity provided that a script offering the search mode is configured as a script for the same activity.

1. Configuration 

1.1. Enabling the "Allow search mode" option

At the outgoing activity level, check the "Allow search mode" box in the general section if you wish to activate the search mode for this activity.



Note: It is necessary for a script that offers the search mode to be configured as the script for the activity.
Note: The "Allow search mode" option can be selected for one or more outgoing activities.

2. Search Mode

In agent mode, click the "Search Mode" button if you wish to perform a search for a record or a number.



2.2. Selecting the Activity

Once the search mode is initiated, a window for selecting the activities for which the "Allow search mode" option has been activated will appear.



Click "OK" once the activity is selected.



2.3. Searching for the Record on the Selected Outgoing Activity

Once the outgoing activity is selected, the search script for that activity is displayed, including the option to search for a record or a number in the database of that same activity (depending on the search mode options included in the script).


2.4. Numbering from the Selected Outgoing Activity

Once the search is completed, the contact numbering is done from the selected outgoing activity.
