How to create an inbound activity

1.    Introduction 
The purpose of this document is to explain the configuration of an inbound activity into NCS. 

2.    Prerequisites 
Calls are coming to the Nixxis Media Server through a SIP trunk:  
- direct link to a VOIP provider, 
- through a VOIP gateway/PBX (coming from the PSTN for example)

3.    Setting up an inbound activity 
​Within the administration module, select the campaign button   and create a new campaign  Choose a description and check “Inbound is active”. 



Select the “Destination” (this is the DID/number provided by the carrier) 
Select a “Preprocessor” and a “script” if needed 



Select the agent(s) that will be linked to this activity (if needed) 



Once done, the campaign can be converted to the “advanced mode” if needed.
